Innovative In Application 

Optic fiber rectification, troubleshooting or optical detection must be operated on the premise that there is no damage to optic fiber and no disrupting traffic. In practice, it is difficult for engineers to find out the corresponding optic fiber because of obsolete / wrong labels and long distance. 

The ordinary method to identify fiber cable is that one guy pulls from one side of the jumper to help his colleague on the other side to find the right cable, which wastes time and probably interrupts the fiber traffic. 

LFF-203 Set Live Fiber Finger


The traditional live fiber finder is designed to curl the fiber with fixed angle. Small angle will cause high dB loss, while big angle could not fulfill the identification. TQ-LFF-203 set provides a simple judgment method to ensure a best angle for all kinds of fibers at all range of wavelengths.

LFF-203 Set Live Fiber Finger


The TQ-LFF-203 set provides a unique solution. TQ-LFF-203 confirms the basic data such as direction, intensity and frequency. With TQ-FSS-152 and TQ-202S, the whole set could find out the right cable in line, both in the same place or in remote distance over 30KM to save time for engineers. 


Test Procedure

STEP 1.  Put the cable into the test slot in TQ-LFF-203, slightly press the handle to power on automatically. Make sure the indicated dB loss is over -32 (such as -25, -28). Lock the handle and press bottom ‘MODE’ to select MODE 2. Fix TQ-LFF-203 onto the ODF.


STEP 2. Bend the upstream of the optic fiber transmission direction to see if the indicated dB loss in TQ-LFF-203 changes synchronously. Then we could proceed with the following test.


STEP 3. Take TQ-202S and TQ-FSS-152 to the other side, bend the fiber softly and check if the signal indicator light of TQ-202S changes to locate the targeted fiber and use the TQ-FSS-152 to verify. 


Note:

TQ-LFF-203 and TQ-202S are connected via wireless network to keep the signal change synchronously. 


Bending the fiber with finger could make swiftly estimate but not precisely. 

TQ-FSS-152 produces steady and regular signal change to verify the result.
